A Message From Our Lawyers

They insisted we have terms. We insisted they be understandable.

Welcome to the least boring Terms of Service you'll ever read. Our lawyers worked overtime to translate legalese into human language, and we're pretty proud of the result. So grab a coffee (or something stronger) and let's get through this together.

1. The "We Promise Not To Be Evil" Clause

By using Aurora, you're trusting us with your voice data. We promise not to do anything creepy with it like train our AI to impersonate you and call your grandma asking for money. That would be weird and illegal. We're not into either of those things.

Your data is yours. We just process it, make it sound awesome, and then give it back to you. We don't sell it, we don't mine it for advertising, and we definitely don't use it to create an army of voice clones. (Though that would make for a cool sci-fi movie.)

2. The "Forever £10" Promise

We at Ventryx solemnly swear that we will NEVER raise the price of Aurora, no matter the server costs, for the benefit of our users.

Yes, you read that right. While other companies (*cough* ElevenLabs *cough*) might charge you £99/month and then raise prices whenever they feel like it, we're committing to keeping Aurora at £10/month. Forever. Even if server costs go up. Even if AI gets more expensive. Even if inflation makes £10 worth about as much as a stick of gum.

Why? Because we believe in building long-term relationships with our users, not maximizing short-term profits. Also, our founder Mark has a weird obsession with the number 10.

3. The "Don't Be a Jerk" Policy

Please don't use Aurora to:

  • Create deepfakes of celebrities saying they endorse your questionable cryptocurrency
  • Generate voice content that violates laws or regulations
  • Impersonate others for fraudulent purposes
  • Create content that's hateful, harassing, or generally awful
  • Try to break our system (unless you're a security researcher, in which case, please tell us how you did it!)

Basically, be a decent human being. If you wouldn't want someone to do it to you, don't do it to others using our platform.

4. The "We're Not Perfect" Acknowledgment

Aurora is amazing, but it's not perfect. Sometimes it might:

  • Pronounce "gif" as "jif" (which is wrong, by the way)
  • Have occasional downtime (we'll fix it ASAP, promise)
  • Misinterpret certain text (especially if you write like you're having a keyboard emergency)

We're constantly improving, but please be patient with us. We're a small team trying to compete with companies that have billions in funding. Your feedback helps us get better!

5. The "Legal Mumbo Jumbo Our Lawyers Made Us Include" Section

AURORA IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. WE'RE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO MODIFY OR DISCONTINUE THE SERVICE AT ANY TIME. YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS SUBJECT TO ALL APPLICABLE LAWS AND REGULATIONS.
